This journal does not charge fees, is a open journal. It allowed a full or partial copy of the articles published in the RGA, but the source must be quoted. The RGA own the copyright on articles published. The author(s) have entire responsabilitie of the paper. We accept manuscript with untill 15 pages. How to submit: Initial manuscript submission must be send in ".doc" (Word) to geograficaacademica@gmail.com. Submission should be in one of the following forms: research articles, review articles, technical note, short communications, research report, education communications, technical manual, field notes, book review and biographs. We accept manuscripts in english, portuguese and spanish. * please, review all the items below. Format: The
manuscript must be in following style:
a) Title: in english. font 14 in bold, capital and centralized. b) Two lines after title, complete name of author (or outhors), centralized, font 10 in times new roman, address and email. c) Two lines after author (authors), must be have in font 12, time new roman, a abstract untill 200 caracters. The keywords untill 5 words. The title ABSTRACT must be in bold, capital and left align. The word Keywords must be in font 12, bold. d) Three lines after abstract must be have a introduction, formated in font 12, times new roman, space line 1,5 and justified. Margin up 3 cm and 2,5 cm, left and right 3 cm. We accept manuscript with untill 15 pages. The title INTRODUCTION must be in font 12, bold and capital, like as all the titles of the manuscript. e) The following titles and sub-titles must be in numerical order, begin in INTRODUCTION and untill REFERENCES, all the titles and sub-titles must be in font 12, bold, capital and left align. f) The references on the text body must be quoted as name and year (Author, year; Author and Author, year, Author et. al., year) and listed at the end of paper alphabetically in REFERENCES. g) Illustrations and tables. The illustrations (maps, graphics, photographs) can be in color or black-white, in JPG (max. size of each figure is 1 MB). The reference of illustrations must be bellow and tables on top in font 10. The word Figure X -, Tables X - must be in bold and font 10. They should be numbered and call on the text body. All figures must be insert inside of the article. h) remove all hyperlinks i) footnotes are not welcome j) References style: Author. year. title of paper, communication of book. Name of journal, book or event, press (if a book) or volume and number (journals), pages of reference paper. Example: Carvalho, T.M. 2007. Quantificação dos sedimentos em suspensão e de fundo no médio rio Araguaia. Revista Geográfica Acadêmica, v.1 n.1, p.55-64. l) In the case of technical note, book review, research report, education communications, technical manual, field notes, book review and biographs, must be warnred. The manuscript being examined will be sent to two consultants (peer review) relevant the subject of the manuscript which will be anonymous. The consultants will have 4 weeks to analyze. If it is not possible to analyse within the deadline, please notify the magazine. In case of refusal by the consultant, the manuscript will be sent to a third party to the final opinion. The suggestions of correction may be sent on a descriptive into a text document in the format. "Doc", or even the document itself with original markings and suggestions the body of the text.
